Russian Strikes Target Energy Facilities in Sumy, One Killed in Kropyvnytskyi
Sept 18 – Russian attacks struck energy facilities in Ukraine's northeastern city of Sumy on Wednesday, while a deadly strike in the central city of Kropyvnytskyi left one person dead, according to regional authorities.
The Ukrainian air force reported that Moscow launched 52 drones overnight, 46 of which were successfully intercepted. Russia also fired three guided air missiles, though none reached their intended targets.

In the central Kirovohrad region, authorities confirmed that a 90-year-old woman was wounded, and several residential buildings were damaged in Kropyvnytskyi. Tragically, one person lost their life in the strike.
