MARTIN HELLIER THE DISGRACED CHAIRMAN OF YEOVIL TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB HAS SAID HE'S SELLING THE CLUB FOR £1
Disgraced football chairman, Martin Hellier has taken to social media to announce he will sell Yeovil Town Football Club before the end of the season according to Yeovil Real News.
It comes after just one season in charge of the club he purchased from previous owner Scott Preistnall, although whilst winning the title in the lowly National League South, a season full of controversy off the pitch.
Hellier, banned many fans for no reasons, apart from disagreeing with his opinions.
The Chairman was then caught out by threatening to kill supporters and their families, including children on more than one occasion.
He also threatened to urinate on a dead mans ashes, whilst also threatening to dig up a dead baby and urinate on her remains, whilst believed to be high on class A drugs.
Hellier then took to ITV Westcountry News to claim it wasn't true, blaming Artificial Intelligence. Although he forgot that in his drunken stupor had left voicemails confirming that it was indeed himself.
Following that - on numerous occasions, he has been the perpetrator of domestic abuse towards former partners again threatening to harm them whilst branding them 'whores' to which currently a non-molestation application has been applied to the court, on police advice.
Hellier also spent much of last season on police bail for harassment and threatening to kill - a case that is now being investigated at Avon & Somerset Constabulary headquarters at Avonmouth, due to Hellier himself claiming he had ' people in high places' at Yeovil Police station, after the Yeovil police failed to send the case to the Crown Prosecution Service despite damming evidence. Whilst another claim by Hellier being that Yeovil Police pass him information, to which is also under investigation.
The club Chairman has also been embroiled in bar brawls with supporters which have gone viral after being witnessed by users of the Bell Inn in Yeovil.
It appears on the financial side of matters, Hellier has run out of money to fund the club, with many of his properties remortgaged according to a charge levied by Lloyds Bank. This has been evident to supporters as prices have been hiked at the small West Country Club and the lack of investment into the squad to compete in the National League Premier.
Whilst a certain quarter of Yeovil Town fans have been in complete denial of his actions and supporter broadcasts such as Three Valleys Radio & Gloverscast whilst on occasions have promoted the racist abusing fiend - other's quickly saw the reality of the situation and got banned from Huish Park as Hellier told supporters it was 'his club' and that it was 'his manor and if they don't like it to f@ck off'.
It had been a light relief to supporters at the start of the Hellier reign, the small West Country Club, had once reached the dizzy heights of the Championship, before falling season after season, cash strapped, all the way to the lowly part time league of the National League South under two previous ownerships. When the last owner, Scott Priestnall ran dry of funds after losing property developers who were to build houses on Huish Park, decided to sell, Priestnall had two offers on the table - Hellier's and one from Damien Singh & Julian Jenkins. It's understood Hellier, desperate for ownership bid over the odds to win the the ownership of the club, which in turn blocked out the Singh deal, Sing & Jenkins then went onto to develop another club in Wales successfully.
Now it appears the club is yet once again for sale after the turbulent short reign of Hellier.
