GREEN EXPULSION FACES WOOTON IN YEOVIL
The Green Party Candidate In Yeovil Somerset, is facing an extraordinary expulsion after branding disabled children in the region a 'burden'.
Serena Wooton, who is standing for election in Yeovil, Somerset, has been under fire since it was revealed by local news outlet Yeovil Real News, of the branding and sharing images of the Green Party propaganda comments as well as revealing local residents thoughts in the normally sleepy market town.
Although the UK general election uproar over Wooton's branding of the disabled has set the town alight with a right political storm brewing as the election nears closer.
Although it appears her appalling branding, saw her sidekick and campaigning counterpart, Tim Eggins, come out in defence aggressively on the Yeovil Real News Social media page.
The outlet, Yeovil Real News, Facebook page, ' Yeovil Real News & Share Your Views' is one of the largest in the area with nearly 13,000 members from a town with only a population of aprox 49,000.
But as Eggins let rip as the article was published, allegedly posing as himself and as ' Yeovil Green Party' in posts - he made false allegations about other contributors whilst making threats, before flouncing off.
Now the admins and moderators of the group have decided, due to Eggins behaviour to hold a ballot whilst asking all members, should the Green Party be banned for their actions.
At time of press tonight, the poll stood at 80% YES, although one of the only three No's was Mrs Eggins.
Current indications are that Wooton and her Green Party will be expelled from the group to which they have been using for their election campaign.
Although, after today's revelations and branding of disabled children being a burden, it's likely their campaigning has ground to halt, with the majority of the town not in agreement with the party or it's leader.
Wooton has yet to issue a statement since the revelations whilst many of the town's residents calling for her to stand down and resign.
In regards Tim Eggins, Global247news has evidence on file of Mr Eggins aggression, with more coming into our newsdesk tonight, which is highly to be produced shortly, if Wooton is still standing for election.
Sadly for the Greens the pending revelations of their behaviour could be far more damaging than the current revelations.
Talking to Global247news tonight, one resident told us, whilst handing over documents in relation to Eggins behaviour, said: ' Her biggest mistake was having Eggins has her wingman, he was always going to blow again through to the election.
' I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote the offending leaflet - he's a hot head and bully as my documentation will demonstrate for you' .
