Spanish Tourists SHOT DEAD In Afghanistan

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has confirmed in a brief tweet that Spanish tourists in Afghanistan have tragically lost their lives.

The incident occurred in the ancient city of Bamiyan on Friday, May 17th, where three Spaniards were fatally shot by unidentified gunmen. Additionally, a fourth Spaniard sustained injuries, along with several other foreign visitors and Afghans.

In a concise statement, Sánchez expressed his deep distress over the tragic killing of Spanish tourists in Afghanistan. He assured that the Government's Consular Emergency Unit is actively engaged in providing all required assistance and that he personally extends his heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
