UK Driver Arrested On Attempted Murder Charge After Hitting Four People

Man Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder After Car Hits Four in Walsall

Walsall, July 7 – A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly driving onto a pavement and striking four pedestrians in Prince Street, Walsall, on Friday afternoon.

West Midlands Police reported receiving a call shortly before 5 p.m. regarding a vehicle that had mounted the pavement, hitting four individuals. The driver fled the scene immediately following the incident.

Two men in their 20s sustained serious injuries and were transported to a hospital. Fortunately, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The other two men struck by the vehicle did not suffer serious injuries.

The suspect remains in police custody for questioning. Authorities have also recovered the vehicle involved in the incident, which is now set to undergo a forensic examination.
