YEOVIL JUNKIES ON PROLIFIC ROBBING SPREE - SUSPECTS NAMED

YEOVIL SHOPLIFTERS CAUGHT ON CCTV AND EXPOSED BY THE PUBLIC

Three notorious shoplifters from Yeovil have been captured on CCTV stealing from a local store in Sturminster Newton, Dorset.

According to Yeovil Real News, the individuals, infamously known as 'crackheads,' were filmed taking a large quantity of alcohol, meat, and groceries from Marnhull Stores, a Spar franchise. They then sped off in a black BMW 5 Series with the registration number XP05 SSS.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the BMW driving erratically at high speeds, recklessly pulling out in front of other vehicles as it made its way back to Yeovil.

Marnhull Stores shared the CCTV images on Facebook, prompting residents of Yeovil to quickly identify and expose the culprits. The three individuals have been allegedly involved in a series of thefts from various stores in Yeovil, including major supermarkets, throughout the week.

DANIEL VAUGHAN - SUSPECT 1

Vaughan, with prior convictions for theft, including house robberies in Yeovil, was previously jailed for two years in 2021. At the time, Avon & Somerset Police described him as a 'prolific offender'.

Earlier,in 2014, he was sentenced to four years for nine counts of burglary and an additional 12 months for theft and handling stolen goods. He also received a 12-month driving ban and a 22-month drug rehabilitation order.

KELLY AYLING - SUSPECT 2

Ayling known locally as ' Smelly Kelly' is a convicted drug supplier who was sentenced in 2020 for supplying crack cocaine at a local beauty spot. She received a 33 month jail term.

Alleged still to be of no fixed abode and a heavy user of crack cocaine and other substances.

UNNAMED SUSPECT 3.

The third suspect remains unknown although seen around Yeovil with her 'Tag' fitted by the authorities, hanging out from her underwear in Yeovil Town Centre when associated with Vaughan & ' Smelly Kelly'

Yeovil residents are now calling upon Avon & Somerset police to take immediate action, although some residents feel that the police aren't interested in shoplifting offences.

Resident Martin Birmingham  claims:

'The police will not get involved in a shoplifting incident , they will come out if there was violence or you are physically holding the suspect but don't hold your breath.'

Considering the three prolific thieves have been reported of stealing all week in Yeovil and surrounding area's - his comments are understandable, as another resident  Malcolm James expressed:

'Enough evidence and previous to pick up these scroats, guess the police as usual are doing nothing  - before long we will be in a lawless society, if we are not already there.'

Yeovil residents now await to see if Avon & Somerset Police take action.
